Slightly off topic but for me, no outfit would be complete without giving my face a little TLC so here are some beauty essentials:
Arguably the best high street powder is I’m sure you will have come across this, Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder (£3.99). This is an essential for my teenage skin that I wear everyday and as its so cheap I have several so I can keep one in my bag and in my room.
This is by far my favourite nail polish colour, so much so that me and my mum bought it each other it for christmas just by chance! The Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in ‘Love This Sweater’ It the perfect nude colour, the only that I have re-purchased which isn’t a strain on the bank at £3.99.
If I could chose only one eyeshadow palette to use for the rest of my life, it would would be the Urban Decay ‘Naked 2’ palette. This is a higher end product at £39.50 but I use this on a daily basis and because of the amazing colour pay off, it has lasted me over a year and counting! My ‘go to’ daily eye look is using the flat, thin end of the brush provided to put ‘blackout’ along my upper eye-line to work as a soft eyeliner look.
My most repurchased products for my face are without a doubt the Revlon ColorStay Foundation (£12.99) and Collections Cosmetic’s Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19). The foundation is one of the more expensive high street foundations but with two formulas and a selection of colours I promise you won’t be disappointed. This full coverage concealer is ideal for under eyes, covering blemishes or brightening. I have several so there is always one in each of my bags which is not struggle as it’s so cheap.
